During the winter months and in between the snow, we have been undergoing some changes to our offices and warehouse to accommodate the additional staff and equipment we have taken on for the new Nursing Equipment division.

So apologies for any unusal noises you may have heard on the phone when ringing us!

We are aiming to have most of the work finished by the end of March 2010, which should provide us all with a more comfortable and efficient working environment.

Well, it's not been a great start to 2010 and the new decade for a Service & Maintenance Company.

Like most other businesses in the South-East our services have been badly disrupted by freezing temperatutes and 7-8 inches of snow over the last few days.

We have had staff unable to get into the office and engineers with vehicles getting stuck at the road side in the atrocious driving conditions we have had over the last few days.

We are working our way as best we can through a back log of calls & would like to thank customers for being patient.

Normal service will be resumed as soon as the weather returns to normal!

We are pleased to say that after many weeks work our new website has been published today along with our new logo and branding on schedule before the end of September 2009.

Southern Care Maintenance first pages were published on the web back in late 2003 and proved to be a great way to both communicate with our customers and promote our business.

Our new web pages are aiming to build on this by providing more up to date industry news through our blog, together with more information on our products and services. There will be more updates to the these in the near future so watch this space.

As from the 1st May 2009 SCM have expanded their work in the healthcare sector, with the acquisition of the service and maintenance division of Wealden Rehab.
