Nurse Call systems

When residents or patients in care homes require assistance, they need a reliable nurse call system if they have to call for assistance. These generally fall into two types -

Hard wired Nurse call systems with cabling -

No longer is it necessary to have a mass of ugly wiring around the building, as all our systems operate on just a pair of wires within a thin telephone type cable.

Should you require the facility of speech communication to the rooms, this is possible on a hard wired system such as this but not on a Radio system.

Radio Nurse Call systems without any cabling -

of which there are many, such as Medicare, Courtney-Thorne or Aidcall. These have the obvious advantage of being able to be easily moved to accomodate changing bed positions, but the disadvantage of having to keep an eye on the battery condition.
